一． NANJING VTS SUMMARY
南京VTS概述
Nanjing VTS consists of 1center and 4 radar stations. Nanjing VTS center are responsible for the services.The VTS center and the radar stations are listed below:

● Tianhekou Radar Station.
● Sheshan Radar Station.
● Yizheng Radar Station.
南京VTS由一个中心和四个雷达站组成，对外服务主要由交管中心进行。交管中心和雷达站的位置是:

The configurations and functions of Nanjing VTS:
1.Radar Surveillance System: Effective range of 6.7 nautical miles with automatic tracking function.
2.VHF Communication System: the whole coverage with multi-channel recording function
3.Meteorology System: Real time displaying data of meteorology under all weather conditions

VTS area: About 98 kilometers long Yangtze River waterway, from the joint line between the river mouth of Cihu river and the river mouth of Wujiang River to the joint line between Xinhekou and Shierwei 。
Users: Passenger ships, Vessels which carrying dangerous goods, Vessels(fleet) of 1000 gross tonnage and over, Vessels of 588 KW and over。
Nanjing VTS Center controls vessel traffic and provides consulting service within the Nanjing VTS area in accordance with Code of Safety Management of Vessel Traffic Service of the People’s Republic of China and Measures of Safeth Management of Jiangsu MSA Vessel Traffic Service。
VTS水域范围：从慈湖河口与乌江河口的联线至新河口标与十二圩河口的联线，长约98公里的长江干线水道。
管理和服务的对象：客船、装载危险货物的船舶、1000GT（总吨）或588KW（千瓦）及以上的其他船舶或船队。
南京VTS中心依据《中华人民共和国船舶交通管理系统安全监督管理规则》及《中华人民共和国江苏海事局船舶交通管理系统安全监督管理办法》等有关法律、法规在本区域实施船舶交通管理，提供咨询服务。

Safety Management |
1.Organizing and monitoring vessels entering or leaving a port of special area.
2.Organizing and monitoring vessels entering an anchorage or a berth and assisting them in anchoring precisely.
3.Monitoring the actions of vessels for compliance with the traffic separation scheme.
4.Monitoring routes speeds of vessels, warning vessels of their rule-breaking actions and corrects them.
5.Warning vessels of approaching dangers and providing advises to avoid them.
6.Assisting the rescue action. |

2．组织并监督船舶进出锚地和泊位，帮助船舶准确锚泊。
3．监督船舶执行船舶定线制。
4．监督船舶航线及航速，警告、纠正违章航行船舶。
5．警告接近危险的船舶，提供避免危险的建议。
6．协助海事救援行动。 |
